1:30 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.: Honor Cord Pick-Up, Office of Student Affairs (Med-Dent NE113) and Individual Graduate Portraits, Med-Dent North Lobby

5:15 p.m.: Warwick Evans Senior Awards Ceremony in Gaston Hall, located on the 3rd floor of the Healy Hall building
6:30 p.m.: Warwick Evans Reception, Dahlgren Quadrangle

12:00 p.m.: School of Medicine Graduation Ceremony on Healy Lawn, located off of 37th St. NW, Washington, DC 20057 (severe weather location: McDonough Arena); livestream via the GU Facebook page
NOTE: Academic Processions for all Commencement ceremonies begin approximately 30 minutes before the posted ceremony time. Guests should be seated before the procession begin.

Guests visiting campus for Commencement activities can make use of several campus maps available online, including an interactive map and a campus-accessible route map. See the Commencement website for accessibility information, including complimentary shuttles and wheelchairs.
Cap & Gown Rental
Please rent regalia through the GU Bookstore by Sunday, March 29, 2026.
Instructions: Use the Select a Collection drop down menu (outlined in red) for the Student GU School of Medicine option. NOTE: The picture shows a gown with black velvet, the students WILL receive the correct gown with green velvet for the medical school.
You can enter your GOWN FIT Height and Cap size (in inches) via this order form. No payment is required until you pick up your order at the University bookstore the week of May 13th.
