First Year Orientation Schedule for the Incoming Class of 2029
Mandatory Sessions: Wednesday, August 6 – Friday, August 8, 2025
Attendance at First Year Orientation is mandatory for matriculating students.

DAY 1: Wednesday, August 6 (MANDATORY)
Day 1 of First Year Orientation will be held in-person at the Georgetown University School of Medicine campus (3900 Reservoir Road, NW).
Wednesday mandatory activities will begin at 8:00 a.m. and conclude at approximately 4:30 p.m.
Dress code is professional/business casual attire.
DAY 2: Thursday, August 7 (MANDATORY)
Day 2 of First Year Orientation will be held in-person at the Georgetown University School of Medicine campus (3900 Reservoir Road, NW).
Thursday mandatory activities will begin at 8:00 a.m. and conclude at approximately 4:30 p.m.
Dress code is professional/business casual attire.
Class of 2029 Family Orientation: 5:30 – 7:00 p.m.
We invite parents and family to attend an in-person Family Orientation from 5:30-6:30 p.m. on Thursday, August 7, in the Proctor Harvey Amphitheater, on the first floor of the Medical-Dental Building (3900 Reservoir Road, NW).
DAY 3: Friday, August 8 (MANDATORY)
Day 3 of First Year Orientation will be held in-person at the Georgetown University School of Medicine campus (3900 Reservoir Road, NW).
Friday orientation sessions will begin at 8:30 a.m. and conclude at 10:00 a.m., with the White Coat Ceremony beginning at 1:00 p.m.
Dress code is professional/business casual attire.
