Todd Waldman is a Professor of Oncology, Biochemistry, Molecular & Cellular Biology at Georgetown School of Medicine. He has been Director of the MD/PhD program since 2010. In 2011, Dr. Waldman reported the discovery of a new cancer gene named STAG2, which is inactivated by mutation in bladder cancer, pediatric bone tumors, leukemias, brain cancers, and endometrial cancers. His research focuses on understanding the role of STAG2 in cancer pathogenesis.
Dr. Turkeltaub is a Professor of Neurology at Georgetown School of Medicine. His research focuses on the brain’s organization for language and other cognitive faculties, how this organization changes in the context of developmental or acquired brain disorders, and how we might enhance recovery.
Rachel has worked for the Center for Cell Reprogramming at the GUMC as an office manager since 2019. She has worked to assist managing various student activities in the MD/PhD Program since 2023.
Casey has worked for the School of Medicine Office of Admissions for six years and has been working with the MD/PhD Program for the past five of those years.
