Student Research Advisory Committee (SRAC)

About the Student Research Advisory Committee

The Student Research Advisory Committee (SRAC) is comprised of M2 students and serves as a liaison for students looking to pursue research here at GUSoM. The SRAC can provide a unique perspective on research opportunities here at Georgetown and all of the MedStar affiliates. They are here to help connect you with your future ISP mentor, as well as providing advice on participation in the many summer research opportunities available for M1 students. ISP mentor!

What SRAC Does

SRAC builds relationships with research faculty who are actively looking for student researchers. They work closely with the Office of Student Research to align with the educational objectives of the ISP and the culture of scientific inquiry here at GUSoM. They are responsible for providing updates and information regarding interested faculty mentors and summer research opportunities. They have also developed a student research peer program that attempts to connect M1 and M2 students with open projects and research opportunities.
