Program Dates
The 2026 ARCHES program will be hosted from June 10, 2026 – July 24, 2026. Completed program applications are due by 11:59 p.m. EST on January 20, 2026.
Eligibility Requirements
All students who are currently in their sophomore or junior year at an accredited U.S. college/university are encouraged to apply for the program. Applicants are considered eligible for the program if they meet the following criteria:
- Must be currently enrolled in a four-year bachelor’s degree-granting program
- Must be a sophomore or junior at the time of application
- Must have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher
- International students must have an F1 or J1 visa
We consider all applicants regardless of race, sex, age, disability status, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, socioeconomic background, or other protected characteristics including DACA/TPS recipients.
Dr. Davetrina Seles Gadson Sponsored Fellow
The Davetrina Seles Gadson, PhD, Scholar Program supports one ARCHES Fellow per year who wishes to follow in the footsteps of Dr. Gadson. Dr. Gadson was a speech-language pathologist who devoted her career to lifting up marginalized individuals recovering from stroke and other brain injuries. Applicants interested in any career path related to neurorehabilitation are eligible and individuals with a specific interest in speech-language pathology are encouraged.

03/20/26 – Final Admissions Decisions Release Date (subject to change)
Application Materials
The 2026 ARCHES Program Application will open November 5, 2025. Completed applications are due by 11:59 p.m. EST on January 20, 2026.
A complete application package includes the following items:
- Completed application form (personal, educational, and demographic details, etc.)
- Short essay responses
- Transcript(s) from all post-secondary institutions attended (unofficial copies OK for application submission)
- Updated resume/CV
- Recommendation (web survey and letter on institutional letterhead with recommender’s signature)
Late submissions will not be accepted and incomplete applications will not be reviewed.
